NOLA

In early March, we took a trip to New Orleans - what a fabulous city! I had to attend a conference for several days, so Chris and Miles spent the first few days exploring the French Quarter. Then we all spent the weekend together, walking around in the Quarter, going to the aquarium, taking the ferry across the Mississippi, riding in the old electric streetcars and, of course, eating! Charbroiled oysters and beignets were among our favorites.

Here's Miles & I sitting in Jackson Square in the French Quarter

So, NO has this amazing aquarium that is filled with marine life, but Miles was most interested in this huge fiberglass frog. Seriously, we had to drag him away after he gave the frog hugs and kisses!

He was also very interested in this alligator's head
