Last weekend we went to an Easter egg hunt at our friends, the Harris', house. Once he got the hang of it, Miles had a great time collecting eggs and putting them in his basket. He still doesn't know that there was candy inside the eggs! Hmmmm... wonder what happened to all the candy?

NOLA
In early March, we took a trip to New Orleans - what a fabulous city! I had to attend a conference for several days, so Chris and Miles spent the first few days exploring the French Quarter. Then we all spent the weekend together, walking around in the Quarter, going to the aquarium, taking the ferry across the Mississippi, riding in the old electric streetcars and, of course, eating! Charbroiled oysters and beignets were among our favorites.
So, NO has this amazing aquarium that is filled with marine life, but Miles was most interested in this huge fiberglass frog. Seriously, we had to drag him away after he gave the frog hugs and kisses!
Everyone Loves a Parade
Just a few quick photos of the St Patrick's Day Parade we went to in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago. It was delayed by a week due to rain and luckily for us, it turned out to be a beautiful day!
Here are some guys on segways. Miles was far more interested in the chili pepper scarf that the guy in front of us was wearing on his head.
This real-estate truck was shooting fire out of the top. We're not sure what this had to do with St Patrick's Day, but it was entertaining to watch!
